I do not have V5 Document. Can I still sell you my car?

In most cases we can still buy your car. We still recommend that you send away for a replacement document by downloading and filling out a V62 form from Directgov. The completed form and any fee should be sent to DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AR. It normally takes 3 to 4 weeks to obtain a new V5. Form V62 is also available from your nearest Post Office.

My car has no MOT or is a non-runner. Will you still buy it?

Yes, we will buy any car

What if I have outstanding car finance?

Either, you can settle the finance directly with the finance company yourself and supply us with written confirmation that this has been done or we can settle the finance on your behalf. You will need to obtain a settlement for figure from the finance company which will be sent to us. We then deduct the outstanding finance figure from the valuation of your car and pay you the remainder whilst settling the finance.

What types of cars do you buy?

Do I need to bring anything with me when I sell you the car?

Yes, please bring the following if applicable:

  • Both keys if you have them
  • Owners Manuals
  • Service history and any receipts
  • MOT certificate (if you have one)
  • V5 document (also known as logbook)
  • Any Coming home controls, remote controls or satellite navigation disks
  • Two forms of identification, such as your passport, bank statement or recent utility bill dated within the last 3 months
  • Your driving license (both counterpart and photocard) confirming your current address
  • Your cheque book or debit card for the account we will use to pay the funds into
  • Any documents relating to outstanding finance including the settlement letter from the relevant finance company

We always carry out an on-site inspection of a vehicle before we offer to buy it. If we consider that its value is affected by any aspect of its history or condition, including any unusual feature or customisation, which was not apparent to us when we gave the online valuation, the price that we offer for it will differ from the online valuation.

We guarantee we are willing to buy every vehicle we value. So that we don't waste your time, if there is a change in the market value of your vehicle resulting in a reduced valuation, then we endeavour to let you know what the new valuation is at least 24 hours before your appointment, so that you have the opportunity to cancel, if you choose to do so. We DO NOT charge any transaction fees.

Our standard payment terms utilise Faster Payment which is a same day payment into your bank account, In some rare cases the payment can take up to 24 hours to arrive at your account.
